OnePlus 6T recently was seen launching “Warp Charge 30”, fastest charging technology. It happens to provide the users with a day’s charge in just 20 minutes.
In recent posts, OnePlus 6T has come up to unfolds the quick charging technology necessitate. With just 30 watts, it claims to serve its users with a day’s power.
OnePlus comments that just like a fast charge, Warp Charge 30 can hold on larger current than those regular fast chargers. Make sure; no task is being performed in the mobile while the device is at charging. This results in performance issues as the CPU and GPU speeds getting stifled.
This problem is treated transferring a significant part of the power management and heat dispersion to the Warp Charge 30 Adapter. Very little heat ever reaches the phone.
OnePlus states that the safety of the battery assembly needs a change in the McLaren Edition to support the expansion in power. The battery’s protection structure too was upgraded by adding 8-layer protection board to the array for more efficient cooling.
This stands to be the rationale that why the company didn’t incorporate this particular technology in the OnePlus 6T despite being launched hardly a month before the McLaren Edition came into force.
For now, the technology is already introduced. The question that arises next is that whether this technology will be compatible with other OnePlus smartphones as well? According to sources, power adapter in OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is dull with other OnePlus devices. When used in the OnePlus 3, the Warp Charge 30 Power Adapter will serve regular charging speed.
